We invite you to submit a proposal to present at the 2019 International STEM in Education Symposium--A Vision for Innovation Teaching and Learning in STEM Education(http://stem2019.swu.edu.cn/). The International STEM in Education Conference series was founded by the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Beijing Normal University (BNU), and the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2010. Later, the three-university collaboration has grown into an eight-university STEM in Education Consortium. The consortium includes the following universities: from Australia, QUT and the University of Sydney; from China, BNU, Northeast Normal University, Southwest University, and Shanghai Normal University; and from Canada, UBC and the University of Calgary. As the consortium has grown, it became clear that in addition to the biannual conferences, we would like to host a biannual symposia on alternative years. Each one of the consortium members has an opportunity to host the biannual conference at their university. So far, the conference were hosted in 2010 and 2018 by QUT, in 2012 and 2016 by BNU and in 2014 by UBC. The next STEM in Education Conference will be hosted at UBC on July 9-11, 2020 (http://stem2020.ubc.ca).
